THE ROLE
We are currently seeking experienced Preservation Team leader to join our team at our premises located in Rozelle. The successful candidate will be hardworking, reliable and training will be provided.
WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE?
- Nace level 1 minimum
- Able to demonstrate previous employment history in painting vehicles or boats.
- Have extensive knowledge of marine paint systems
- Previous experience using AWLGRIP International and Jotun marine coatings would be an advantage.
- Have sound knowledge of prepping various substrates ready for painting.
- Application of coatings via spay/roller and brush.
- Able to identify and correct any surface blemishes.
- Ensure that all documented Quality Control procedures are followed
- A clear understanding of Work Health & Safety (WHS)
- Trade qualified an advantage.
- White Card, EWP (Yellow Card), Confined Space & Working at Heights
- Previous team leader or leading hand position
- Strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple duties/projects at one time.
