The Business Support Officer plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of Flamingos Live. This position is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service through the Box Office, providing administrative support across business, assisting with event coordination, and ensuring efficient office operations.
Working Hours: 24-38hours per week / (some negotiations applicable)
Key Responsibilities
Box Office & Customer Service
- Manage ticket sales and reservations via phone, email, online platforms and in person.
- Process ticket exchanges, refunds and booking amendments in accordance with company policies.
- Respond to customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist patrons with event information, seating arrangements and venue enquiries.
- Prepare reports as required.
- Maintain accurate customer and booking records.
Administration Support
- Provide general administrative support to Management
- Prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets and other business documents.
- Maintain systems, databases and company records.
- Monitor and respond to general email enquiries.
- Assist with data entry and record management.
Event & Operational Support
- Assist with event planning, preparation and coordination.
- Support marketing and promotional activities as required.
- Liaise with suppliers, performers, patrons and stakeholders.
- Assist with maintaining event schedules and operational documentation.
- Support front-of-house operations when required.
Financial Administration
- Assist with invoicing
- Handle cash and EFTPOS transactions in accordance with company procedures.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in administration, customer service or a similar support role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional presentation and customer-focused approach.
Pay: $30.19 – $40.56 per hour
