Retail Account Manager – Tile Industry | Own & Grow Your Territory
$70,000 Base + Commission | Company Ute | Slacks Creek QLD + on the road
Quantum Leap Imports is an importer and wholesaler of porcelain and ceramic tiles, supplying retail and trade customers across Northern NSW, South-East Queensland, and Northern Queensland. We're looking for an Account Manager to take real ownership of a customer territory — growing what we have, and building what we don't yet.
This is a genuine step-up role. If you've done well selling tiles or flooring in a retail environment and you're ready to move from a single store to running your own patch across multiple sites, this is the move.
The mandate
Your job is simple to state and rewarding to do: win share of shelf and share of mind with every retail partner you look after. That means getting more of our range into their stores, and being the supplier they think of first.
- Grow revenue from our existing retail stores that we supply to — more range, more space, more often
- Hunt and win new retail partners who fit our offering across the territory
- Be the trusted face of Quantum Leap in-market — product knowledge, samples, pricing, and support that keeps us front of mind
How the week works
- ~3-4 days on the road — visiting retail customers, building relationships, selling, and prospecting across QLD and Northern NSW.
- ~1-2 days in our Slacks Creek office — back up order processing, supporting sample preparation, enquiries, and keeping your pipeline moving
What we're looking for
- A relationship-builder who genuinely enjoys customers and selling
- Someone self-directed who can run a planned call cycle without being managed
- Retail experience in tile, flooring or related building products is a strong advantage
- Comfortable with CRM, email, and order systems
- Full Australian driver's licence, and full working rights in Australia
- Able to handle sample boxes (up to 30kg with safe lifting practices)
