The Office of the General Manager is seeking an Assistant Director to join the team. Reporting to the Senior Director and working closely with the Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-level executive and operational support. You will coordinate and prepare briefings and correspondence on behalf of the Office of the General Manager, engage, develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, support the Office's governance structures, contribute to the development and implementation of policies and programs, and monitor and maintain relevant registers, recommendations and tracking documents to support high-quality service provision.
The ideal candidate will have several years' experience working in a similar role and environment, along with excellent communication and customer service skills. You will have the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, contribute to the development of team objectives for short-term tasks and strategic planning for longer-term initiatives, and maintain and continually develop your knowledge of, and compliance with, legislative, financial and administrative frameworks, government decision-making processes, agency guidelines and regulations.
