About the role:
We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Endoscopy Day Surgery Registered Nurse to join us on a casual basis. Monday to Friday, occasional Saturday and holiday relief available.
Duties and responsibilities:
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
- Assist the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care
- Ensure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgery
- Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus
- Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications
- Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery
- Supervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shift
- Work across Theatre and Day Surgery Unit
About You:
You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
- Solid experience in Endoscopy/ Day Surgery nursing in a perioperative setting
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- A true commitment to delivering high quality patient care
