About the role
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a legal secretary to work in our Sydney office. In this role, you will provide quality and efficient support to our Construction practice Partners and the broader team.
What does the role involve?
The Construction team is highly collaborative and the work you will perform will be dynamic in nature. Your primary role will be to assist the Partners and Lawyers in making sure the practice runs smoothly.
On any given day you could be:
- Providing high level administrative support to the practice area leader, partners and fee earners in the practice group – helping them do the best work they can
- Assisting with the monthly billing process – doing your best to support our lawyers by facilitating an organised and informed process
- Handling confidential information and opening new matters
- Managing the team's filing including electronic files
- Assisting with client queries and ad hoc reporting
- Travel management
- Inputting and maintaining client data into client relationship software (Interaction)
- Managing diaries, juggling and arranging appointments, booking rooms and catering and ultimately ensuring client needs are met to the best of your ability
- Assisting with client development work.
Ideally you will have 5+ years' experience as a legal secretary or similar and be able to support the partners in the practice.
