Are you passionate about improving safety outcomes, driving continuous improvement, and working with diverse teams across a large operational environment? Join Forest and Fire Operations as a Program Officer, Internal Assurance and Safety and help shape the systems, safety practices and decisions that support our frontline workforce during bushfires and other emergencies. You'll work across Victoria with field staff and leaders, supporting our internal assurance program, leading safety improvement initiatives and projects, investigate incidents, and help create safer outcomes for the people protecting our communities and environment.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- Knowledge and/or experience in safety and assurance processes and practice (analysis and evaluation, issues identification, risk management and forming recommendations) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge and experience of Forest & Fire Management policy, procedures and systems is highly desirable.
There are two ongoing positions available. The work location for these positions is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
