Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and execute performance test strategies and test plans.
- Develop and maintain performance test scripts using Gatling and JMeter.
- Analyse application, infrastructure, and database performance bottlenecks.
- Monitor system behaviour using APM tools such as Dynatrace and AppDynamics.
- Investigate performance issues and provide tuning recommendations.
- Create automated performance testing solutions and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop utility scripts and automation using Python and Shell Scripting.
- Produce performance test reports with clear recommendations and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with Developers, Architects, Business Analysts, and Test Teams to ensure performance requirements are understood and validated.
- Support performance testing activities across multiple projects and environments.
Mandatory Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Performance Testing / Performance Engineering.
- Hands-on expertise with Gatling and/or JMeter.
- Strong experience with APM and monitoring tools:
o Dynatrace
o AppDynamics
- Strong scripting skills in:
o Python
o Unix/Linux Shell Scripting
- Experience analysing performance metrics including:
o Response times
o Throughput
o Resource utilisation
- Experience identifying and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks across application, middleware, database, and infrastructure layers.
- Strong stakeholder communication and reporting skills.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
