We are looking for an enthusiastic Grade 2 Physiotherapist to join our Cardiorespiratory team at Footscray hospital this is a non-rotating, full time, ongoing position.
Working in our General Medicine team, you will use your acute, critical care, and general cardiorespiratory skills to deliver best care to a variety of General Medicine patients. Support for other cardiorespiratory caseloads at Footscray Hospital may be required such as surgical, ENT and respiratory. This position includes regular weekend work where you will provide Grade 2 leadership and support to casual and junior staff on our weekend physiotherapy service.
These are well-supported positions and provide opportunity for training and development of your clinical, supervision and leadership skills, joining a team that is dedicated to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement. Grade 2 Physiotherapists at Western Health participate in our Research and Quality program and contribute to our stream portfolios and department committees. In this role you will be supported by experienced Grade 3 and 4 Physiotherapists and encouraged in your ongoing professional development. We have a strong research focus with a number of PhD candidates within our cardiorespiratory team and exciting opportunities for involvement in small and larger scale research projects.
