The Project Coordinator plays a key role within the Initiative Delivery Team, operating as part of a multi-disciplinary delivery model to support the successful execution of ICT projects and digital initiatives. This role is responsible for managing the delivery of assigned projects or work packages, while working collaboratively across Digital Canberra and with stakeholders across the ACT Government to ensure outcomes are delivered effectively, efficiently, and in alignment with established delivery frameworks.
Reporting to Program/Project Manager(s), the role operates within a matrix reporting structure, with alignment to the Senior Director, Initiative Delivery, and the DCBR Project Responsible Officer and/or Executive. The Project Coordinator contributes to the seamless and transparent tracking of program and project objectives, supporting governance, reporting, and coordination activities to enable informed decision-making and successful delivery outcomes.

Notes: This is a temporary position available from 1 July 2026 for a period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
This position is based at a workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
As part of the ACTPS, this role has access to a range of flexible working provisions including hybrid work arrangement primarily based in the Gungahlin office (Winyu House), customer sites, and/or home. The occupant of the role is expected to work in the Gungahlin office a minimum of 2 days per week. ACTPS staff also have access to a range of FlexiSpace office locations across Canberra.
