About the role

Orica is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a site based mobile plant fitter/ mechanic to join our team based out of Perth.

This role operates on an 8 days on / 6 days off roster, providing maintenance and technical support at our operations at the mine site. A competitive salary, allowances, and performance based bonus are included.

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, this role is critical in supporting the reliability and performance of Orica’s mobile and fixed plant equipment.

What you will be doing

Maintain and repair mobile and fixed plant equipment
Provide hands on technical support to site teams
Identify and report equipment issues and improvement opportunities
Complete maintenance records and follow safety standards

What you will bring

Trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical (essential)
Dual trade with Auto Electrical (desirable)
3+ years post trade experience, ideally within mining or heavy industry
Exposure to mobile plant, fixed plant, or field service environments
HR (Heavy Rigid) licence (advantageous but not essential
