Your new role:
You will play a vital part in delivering high quality emergency care at QEII Jubilee Hospital, working within a dynamic metropolitan ED that sees 63,000+ presentations each year. In this role, you will contribute to patient assessment, treatment, and safe clinical decision-making while developing your skills under the guidance of senior clinicians.

Key responsibilities include:
Interviewing, examining and arranging investigations for ED patients, ensuring timely documentation and safe clinical handover.
Participating in emergency treatment, diagnosis, treatment planning and discharge summaries under supervision of Registrars and Consultants.
Working collaboratively with interprofessional teams to deliver safe, patient centred care aligned with NSQHS Standards.
Engaging in continuous learning through structured teaching, mentoring, workplace based assessments and self directed development.

The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.
We're making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need. We'll have more beds, medical wards and expanded intensive care and emergency services planned to be opened by 2027.
