Peninsula Private Hospital is a comprehensive 344 bed acute emergency, surgical, medical, cardiac and obstetric facility located in the bayside town of Frankston in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs. The hospital currently accommodates a 14 bay emergency department, 226 medical and surgical, 36 cardiac, 11 ICU, 7 Neonatal, 14 Obstetric, and 30 Oncology beds which include 15 day infusion chairs. Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and reliable Stores and Supply Officer to join our busy Stores Department on a casual basis. This is a practical role, so you will need to handle manual tasks safely and efficiently while keeping our hospital running smoothly.
What you will do:

Keep hospital departments stocked with the items they need, when they need them.

Order, receive, and store stock safely and efficiently.

Maintain stock levels and follow hospital inventory policies.
-
Generate usage reports to help manage stock and support hospital operations.

Your Essential Skills and Experience
-
Previous supply/purchasing experience.

Experience using SAP/other computerised inventory control system.
-
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required.

Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.
-
Demonstrated organisational and time management skills.
-
Computer literacy skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft.
Desirable Criteria
-
Previous experience in a hospital environment supply role.

Qualification in Purchasing or SAP.
