About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Security & Emergency Services Supervisor to lead a site-based Emergency Response and site access team within a dynamic resource environment.
In this hands-on leadership role, you will oversee emergency response readiness, lead incident response operations, and develop a high-performing Emergency Services team. You will work closely with site stakeholders to ensure compliance, operational readiness, and continuous improvement across all emergency response and site access control systems, equipment, and personnel.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Emergency Response Team during incidents, providing command, control, and coordination of emergency and rescue operations
Act as emergency first response during all call outs and ensure safe, effective incident management
Coordinate site rescue functions, including First Response Team command and return-to-operations support
Mentor and develop Emergency Services Officers to maintain a capable, risk-based response team including leading monthly training aligned to our skills maintenance programme
Oversee emergency response and site access control systems, ensuring readiness, continuous improvement, and compliance with site and legislative requirements
Support site HSE activities including risk assessments, inspections, hazard reviews, PTOs, and layered audits
About You
You are an experienced emergency response professional with strong leadership capability and a background in mine rescue, ERT, or heavy industry emergency services.

Queensland Security Licence (unarmed & CCTV)
Course in Drug and Alcohol Testing- HLTPAT010 or equivalent
Provide Advanced First Aid- HLTAID014 or equivalent
Operate Breathing Apparatus Open Circuit- PUAFIR207 or equivalent
Identify, Detect and Monitor Hazardous Materials at an Incident- PUAFIR306
or equivalent
Render Hazardous Materials Incidents Safe- PUAFIR324 or equivalent
Undertake Road Crash Rescue- PUASAR024 or equivalent
Undertake Vertical Rescue- PUASAR032 or equivalent
Undertake Confined Space Rescue- PUASAR025 or equivalent
Conduct Fire Team Operations- RIIERR201 or equivalent
Respond to Local Emergencies and Incidents- RIIERR302 or equivalent
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment- TAE40122 or equivalent
Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue - RII30719 or equivalent
G1, 2, 8 & 9 Supervisor Course
2+ years in a leadership position related to emergency response
Strong knowledge of emergency response, rescue procedures, and incident management
Experience delivering training, drills, and emergency preparedness activities
Ability to pass pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screening, and ongoing fitness for work requirements
