Star Group is seeking experienced and motivated licensed electricians to join our growing team in the Wollongong region. This is an opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of projects, including commercial office fit-outs, infrastructure works, and specialised government/security facilities.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical installations and maintenance across a range of project environments.
Your work will include:

Commercial office fit-outs and refurbishments.

Infrastructure and service upgrades.
-
Exposure to government and security-sensitive sites (with opportunities to obtain clearances).

Electrical and data/communications installations.
-
Fault finding, maintenance, and reactive works.
-
Instrumentation and PLC/VSD installation and fault finding.
-
Attend sites to complete a wide range of electrical installations and maintenance tasks.

Install, terminate, and test electrical and data cabling systems.

Diagnose and resolve electrical and communications faults efficiently.

Interpret drawings, plans, and specifications.

Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.

Maintain strict adherence to WHS and compliance standards.

Deliver work to a high standard, on time, and with attention to detail.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

A current Electrical Licence (essential)

Experience in commercial, fit-out, or infrastructure projects

Data/communications cabling registration (highly regarded)

Experience with instrumentation, PLCs or VSDs (highly regarded)

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

A proactive and reliable work ethic

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Base rate as applicable by Wollongong Service Enterprise Agreement, plus travel, fares and productivity allowances.
