In this role, you'll:
Join the Planning & Performance - Timetable Design & Delivery team, this role will see you manage the design, development, production and maintenance of the rail Standard Working Timetable. This includes supporting scoping activities for the future network growth and enabling infrastructure.
This is a unique opportunity where you’ll be required to collaborate with a wide range of internal stakeholders including the Transport Rail Service Design team, Sydney Trains Daily Working Timetable team and other operational teams who are impacted by timetable delivery. You will deliver safe, reliable, and efficient timetable outcomes, which meets the meeds of our passengers.
Managing the two to five year timetable delivery lifecycle, you will provide input into rail planning strategies with particular emphasis on the effective use of fleet and infrastructure including testing and consultation to meet passenger, safety and operational requirements
This includes managing the Timetable Change Request process and ensuring risks are managed and communicated effectively, and ensuring robust processes and controls are in place for the implementation of a safe and reliablel timetable.
You will also lead and inspire a specialist team, with a focus on developing team culture, capability and succession planning

About you
You are a driven leader with some previous rail exposure and exposure to the planning environment . Tertiary qualifications coupled with relevant industry experience in transport, logistics or supply chain will be highly regarded.
Transparency is key. You will be an excellent communicator who keeps your stakeholders well informed of the role that they play in ensuring critical deliverables are met. You’ll demonstrate experience in managing competing priorities with the customer at the heart.
As a passionate leader you will inspire, motivate and develop a specialist team. You’ll be responsible for mentoring others and developing the capabilities of individual team members to support the delivery of the strategic plan.
