We are seeking an exceptional clinical leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as Senior Clinical Care Manager. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of clinically complex clients across Complex Care, Home Care and Disability Services.
Reporting directly to the Executive General Manager and working closely with the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to multidisciplinary clinical teams across metropolitan Sydney. You will champion clinical excellence, strengthen governance frameworks, drive operational performance and foster a culture where clinicians are supported to deliver outstanding patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities
As Senior Clinical Care Manager, you will:

Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across multiple clinical programs.
- Lead and support multidisciplinary field teams delivering complex care throughout Sydney.
- Ensure the highest standards of clinical governance, patient safety and quality.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, accreditation activities and evidence-based practice.
- Mentor, coach and develop Clinical Managers, Educators and frontline clinicians.
- Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement strategic organisational initiatives.
- Optimise workforce capability, resource allocation and service delivery performance.
- Monitor clinical, operational and financial performance using meaningful KPIs and data insights.
- Build strong relationships with hospitals, health districts, insurers, government agencies and community stakeholders.
- Foster an engaged, collaborative and high-performing clinical culture aligned with Vitalis Health's values.
About You
You are an experienced and inspiring healthcare leader who is passionate about improving patient outcomes and developing high-performing clinical teams.
You bring strategic thinking, operational expertise and strong clinical credibility, with the ability to lead confidently within a fast-paced and evolving healthcare environment.
You will bring:

Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Extensive leadership experience within community health, disability, home care or other complex healthcare environments.
- Critical care experience, including knowledge of ventilator-dependent and medically complex patients.
- Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary clinical teams across multiple service locations.
- Strong understanding of Australian healthcare legislation, clinical governance and accreditation standards.
- Proven experience driving quality improvement and organisational change.
- Excellent workforce planning and operational management skills.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Highly developed coaching and mentoring skills with a genuine passion for developing people.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to use data to improve clinical and operational performance.
- Experience working within complex, multidisciplinary environments and managing competing priorities.
- An understanding of the NDIS, aged care and community healthcare sectors will be highly regarded.
