Kamala Child and Adolescent Mental Health Inpatient Unit is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to join our team in Lismore.
Supporting young people and their families across Northern NSW and the Mid North Coast, Kamala provides specialist inpatient mental health care in a warm, collaborative, and recovery-focused environment. As a Registered Nurse, you'll work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, education professionals, and creative therapists to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

Our Kamala Registered Nurses coordinate and deliver high-quality person-centred nursing care for young people and their families and carers, in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Standards for Practice for Registered Nurses, and the Policies and Procedures of the Ministry of Health (MoH) and NNSWLHD.
Nursing care is provided utilising the principles of Trauma Informed Care and Recovery and in accordance with the National Practice Standards for Mental Health Workforce 2013 and the NSW Health Mental Health Competencies.
