Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Afternoon Shift Supervisor to lead our production team at our modern, well-equipped Perth workshop.

About You
You are a proactive leader with a strong mechanical background who enjoys developing people, improving processes, and delivering quality outcomes. You will have:
- Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Machining, Fitting & Turning, or a related discipline
- Previous experience leading or supervising workshop teams within a manufacturing or heavy engineering environment
- Strong understanding of machining, hydraulic cylinder repair, or heavy equipment maintenance
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and quality
- Experience working within quality management systems (ISO 9001 experience desirable)
- Current Australian C Class Driver's Licence
- Current forklift ticket
- Sound planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to motivate teams and achieve production targets in a fast-paced environment
Experience within the hydraulic cylinder industry is highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise and coordinate all afternoon shift workshop operations
· Lead, mentor, and support production personnel to achieve safety, quality, and productivity targets
· Allocate work and monitor production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements
· Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company procedures and quality standards
· Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS requirements
· Liaise with day shift supervisors and management to ensure smooth workflow and communication
· Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement
· Maintain high standards of housekeeping, equipment care, and workplace organisation
