About the Role
We’re looking for a
Pharmacy Technician to join our welcoming team at
Slade Pharmacy Frankston, servicing the
St John of God Frankston Rehabilitation Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a hospital environment and continue building your skills in a collaborative and supportive setting.
Working up to 53 hours per fortnight, this role offers valuable exposure to hospital pharmacy services, including compounding. You’ll be supported by an experienced team who are passionate about knowledge sharing and providing hands-on training to help you develop and succeed.
This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team, is eager to learn, and is motivated to contribute to positive patient outcomes.

The Roster:
This is a permanent part-time position, working approximately 53 hours per fortnight. The available shifts are as follows:
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday 0830-1600hrs
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, dispense and supply medications for hospital inpatients and outpatients
- Assist in processing and maintaining imprest levels, and managing hospital ward stock
- Reconcile and manage prescriptions and patient medication discharge profiles
- Provide support to patients, carers and hospital staff
- Process PBS claims and assist in producing medication profiles to hospital patients on discharge
- Confidently complete administrative and record keeping duties
- Assist with patient account enquiries
About the Hospital
St John of God Frankston Rehabilitation Hospital delivers a range of rehabilitation programs and care to both inpatients and outpatients, designed to help patients get back to doing what they love. Led by supportive specialists who focus on promoting wellness and recovery, the hospital runs specialist neurological, cardiac, orthopaedic and movement disorder (including Parkinson's disease) rehabilitation programs, in addition to general programs for patients recovering from surgery, accidents or injury.
