Who we're looking for:
Based in our Melbourne Head Office, our IT Technical Support Engineers are critical to delivering exceptional technology support across both corporate and project site environments. Acting as the face of IT, you'll provide hands-on support across hardware, software, end-user devices, workplace technology, AV systems, and network infrastructure, ensuring a seamless technology experience for our people.
This is a dynamic, fast-paced role that combines day-to-day technical support with the mobilisation and ongoing support of project sites. A key focus of the role is establishing new site-based technology environments, including end-to-end IT, AV, and network infrastructure, ensuring sites are operational, connected, and ready to support project delivery from day one.
You'll bring experience in Technical Support, Service Desk, End User Computing, or IT Infrastructure roles, with strong technical knowledge across Windows and Apple operating systems, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, Intune, mobile device management, and networking fundamentals. Experience supporting site-based operations, coordinating vendors, managing technology assets, and deploying collaboration solutions such as Microsoft Teams Rooms will be highly regarded.
Success in this role requires a strong customer-service mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You'll be proactive, adaptable, and capable of taking ownership of issues while contributing to the continuous improvement of technology services across the business.
The successful Candidate will be a self-starter with exceptional problem-solving skills, including:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma of Information Technology or equivalent (preferable).
- Previous experience as Deskside Support Engineer or similar IT services/support (preferable).
- Experience with hardware refresh activities, including laptops and mobiles
- Exposure to configuration and troubleshooting of Microsoft Office Suite and utilisation of help desk management and remote assistant tools.
- Exposure to PC hardware replacement and repair, enterprise workstation deployment and configuration, troubleshooting client network connectivity issues, and configuration of networked printers.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience with device provisioning, onboarding/offboarding, and asset management
- Experience in support for site relocations and decommissioning activities
