Our St. John's Residential Aged Care in Toowong is seeking a Support Services Worker on a casual basis who can be an all rounder across our kitchen, laundry and cleaning teams.
You will provide invaluable support to our residents with general cleaning, laundry, cooking and social support. The pay-rate for this role would be $28.52-$31.19/hr depending on your experience.
There are a few permanent weekday shifts available 0800-1300 with possible availability on weekends to cover leave.
About you:
- The physical demands of this role may include standing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching etc.
- Ensure cleaning and other service standards outlined by Anglicare are met
- Ensure duties are completed within the expected timeframe
- Use equipment as instructed to minimise risk of injury, and follow all manual handling and safe driving practices, in accordance with procedures and training
Requirements:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Certificate II or III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) or equivalent will be highly regarded but not required
