Embroidery Machine Operator
We're a fast-growing eCommerce business on the lookout for a reliable, detail-oriented Embroidery Machine Operator to join our small team. This is a casual role with consistent full-time hours — Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm and a clear pathway to a permanent position after 6 months.
No embroidery experience? No problem. Full training is provided.
About the Role
This is a hands-on production role in a busy, fast-paced environment. You'll spend around 75% of your time operating an embroidery machine, with the remaining 25% on order packing and related tasks. It's a physical role you'll be on your feet most of the day and it suits someone who takes pride in doing accurate work, consistently, day in and day out.
Reliability is everything in this role. We need someone who shows up ready to work Monday to Friday and takes care to get things right the first time.
What You'll Be Doing
- Operating embroidery machines (full training provided)
- Assisting with basic sewing tasks (no experience needed)
- Packing and preparing embroidered garments for dispatch
- Conducting quality checks before orders are shipped
- Processing customer orders through our software
- Unpacking and inspecting incoming supplier stock
- Pitching in with other tasks as the business needs
What We're Looking For
- A strong work ethic and a consistent, reliable approach — punctuality and attendance are critical
- Excellent attention to detail, especially when it comes to spotting small stitching errors
- The ability to work at pace without sacrificing accuracy
- Comfortable working independently and staying focused throughout the day
- Good computer literacy and a willingness to learn new software
- Comfortable on your feet for most of the shift
