Provide Another Mother is currently seeking a Support Worker to support a female NDIS participant in her early 40s who enjoys crafting, visiting markets, and getting out into the community.
This is a rewarding role that combines domestic assistance, companionship, and community access support, allowing you to make a genuine difference in someone's everyday life.
About the Role
This position involves approximately 9 hours per week and is expected to commence in early July.
You will support the participant with a combination of:
Domestic Assistance
- General household cleaning
- Laundry and ironing
- Changing bed linen
- Household organisation and tidying
- Meal preparation assistance
Community Access & Social Participation
- Grocery shopping
- Visiting local craft markets
- Community outings and appointments
- Supporting participation in hobbies and interests
- Encouraging social engagement and independence
Companionship
- Building a positive and supportive relationship
- Engaging in meaningful conversation
- Providing encouragement and emotional support
- Supporting the participant to enjoy activities and interests
About Our Participant
Our participant is a friendly woman in her early 40s who has a passion for crafting and creative activities. We are ideally seeking someone of a similar age who shares an interest in crafting, markets, or creative hobbies and can build a genuine rapport while providing support.
While shared interests are not essential, they would certainly be beneficial in creating a meaningful and enjoyable support relationship.
About You

Previous experience in disability support, aged care, community services, or domestic assistance is highly regarded.
Mandatory Requirements
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Driver's Licence
- Reliable and registered vehicle
- Smartphone for communication and rostering
- Full Australian Working Rights
- Completion of prerequisite training modules
