About the opportunity
We're looking for a flexible and motivated team member to join our team in a unique hybrid role, working across both our Cellar/Stores and Beverage Operations at Wests New Lambton.
This position offers variety in your day-to-day work, with shifts rostered across both departments depending on operational requirements. One day you may be supporting our cellar and stores operations by managing stock and maintaining beverage systems, while the next you'll be delivering exceptional customer service behind the bar.

Cellar & Stores Attendant Responsibilities
You'll play an important role behind the scenes, ensuring our beverage and food operations run smoothly by:

Maintaining and cleaning beverage systems, including kegs, beer lines, taps and fridges.
- Receiving, rotating and distributing food and beverage stock.
- Monitoring stock levels and assisting with stocktakes.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the cellar, storerooms and loading dock.
- Following WHS, food safety and liquor licensing requirements.
- Supporting bar and kitchen teams with stock replenishment and deliveries.
Beverage Attendant Responsibilities
You'll also work as part of our Bar and Gaming team, providing outstanding service to our members and guests by:

Providing warm and friendly customer service.
- Preparing and serving beverages.
- Operating TAB and Keno terminals.
- Handling tills and cash transactions.
- Keeping your workstation and equipment clean and organised.
- Collecting glassware and maintaining clean, welcoming service areas.
About you
You're a reliable and adaptable team player who enjoys variety and is comfortable working across different areas of a busy hospitality operation. You take pride in your work, communicate well with others, and are happy to roll up your sleeves wherever support is needed.
Whether you're maintaining stock levels behind the scenes or serving guests on the floor, you consistently deliver a high standard of service and professionalism.
What you'll need

Previous experience in cellar, stores, warehouse or bar operations (preferred).
- Knowledge of beverage systems and food safety practices (desirable).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- The ability to safely undertake manual handling tasks.
- A flexible approach and willingness to work across multiple departments.
- A team-first attitude and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
This position requires flexibility to work across a rotating roster based on business requirements, including evenings, Friday nights, weekends and peak trading periods.
Mandatory certifications: Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG).
As part of our recruitment process, you'll be required to complete standard probity checks including, but not limited to, right-to-work verification, a Criminal History Check and reference checks. These will be facilitated and funded by The Wests Group.
