- Be part of a brand-new venue from day one
- Casual role, approx. 20 hours/week
- Training provided ahead of our mid-August opening
At The Lune Co, we exist to create exceptional experiences, moments of joy, and excellence in the everyday.
Moon is moving to the CBD, opening mid-August, and we're looking for chefs who want to be part of a founding team and help set the standard for a brand-new venue from day one. Where our sibling brand Lune Croissanterie is known for croissants, Moon does one thing and does it well: crullers. Twisty, crispy-on-the-outside, custardy-on-the-inside choux pastry, glazed and served fresh daily.
About the role and venue:
Working with the BOH Supervisor and Senior Chef, this role is integral to the production and finishing of the crullers.
- Casual, approx. 20 hours/week (min. 2 shifts)
- CBD venue, opening mid-August 2026, with training in the lead-up
- Trading 7 days a week
- Full availability preferred
We're looking for chefs who:
- Have at least 1 year's experience in a kitchen, restaurant or pastry environment
- Bring strong time management and a great work ethic
- Are confident with commercial kitchen tools and processes
- Thrive on feedback and contribute a positive, collaborative energy to their team
- Have full working rights in Australia
Key details:
- What we offer: staff discounts, parental leave, and access to our Employee Assistance Program
- A values-led, positive team culture that champions pride in product and will celebrate your success with you
If you're someone who cares about craft, consistency and being part of something new, we'd love to hear from you.
