The Role: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a contractor. This role is fully remote and focuses on delivering services via telehealth. You will conduct Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA), provide therapy recommendations, and prepare detailed, clinically justified reports to support NDIS funding across Core, Capacity Building, and Capital support categories.
Key Responsibilities
● Conduct Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA) via telehealth
● Provide clear, goal-aligned funding recommendations across NDIS support categories
● Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions virtually (as required)
● Utilise standardised tools and clinical observations in assessments
● Collaborate with support coordinators, participants, and healthcare professionals
● Prepare compliant, professional FCA reports following NDIS and AHPRA standards
Important Note on Service Delivery
All assessments are conducted via telehealth. Therapists are expected to apply clinical judgment to determine whether virtual assessment is appropriate and to disclose any assessment limitations in their reports, in line with NDIS Practice Standards.
What We’re Looking For
● AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist (Essential)
● 1+ years’ experience working within the NDIS framework (Preferred)
● Strong report writing skills and understanding of FCA requirements
● Experience with assistive technology, home mods, or therapy planning (desirable)
● Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver consistent quality
● High standard of professionalism and commitment to evidence-based practice
