Registered Nurse/Endorsed Enrolled Nurse- Aged Care- Night shift (Full-time or part-time)About the role
As a Nurse at Vermont Aged Care, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to our elderly residents. This full-time/part-time position is based in Vermont, VIC 3133, and offers the opportunity to work in a supportive, collaborative environment where your expertise and dedication will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. What you'll be doing:
- Assessing and monitoring the health and wellbeing of residents, and developing and implementing individualized care plans
- Administering medications and treatments according to residents' needs and medical orders
- Providing hands-on nursing care, including personal care, wound management, and palliative care
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure the delivery of holistic, person-centred care
- Documenting and maintaining accurate patient records in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Promoting a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for residents and their families
What we're looking for
- Grade 2 RN or EEN willing to do part time or full time night duty hours. Will be working with Nurse in charge to ensure excellence in care overnight.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- 1 year Aged Care experience in a similar aged care or healthcare setting is recommended
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to elderly residents/patients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a commitment to delivering safe, evidence-based care
- Proficient in using electronic medical records and other relevant technology
