La Belle Miette, Melbourne's macaron, chocolate and French tea specialist patisserie, is seeking an experienced pastry chef to lead or help run macaron production in our Richmond kitchen. La Belle Miette produce a premium, specialist product, with stores in Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney, and an impressive list of luxury corporate clients.
You will work with a small, friendly and growing young team, working with excellent ingredients and making beautiful products in a centrally located kitchen. No early mornings, no late nights or weekends.
Key Qualifications
- Experience in a commercial pastry kitchen essential
- Experience in macaron production valued but not essential
- Experience in chocolate production valued but not essential
- Management experience highly valued for a senior position.
- Attention to detail, accuracy and a visual eye; take pride in your work
- Be highly organised, able to multi-task and prioritise tasks and projects
- High initiative/proactivity

- Experienced pastry chef ideally with some experience in chocolate production
