About The Role:
Support an individual with a brain injury to live his best life
We’re looking for a compassionate and motivated Disability Support Worker to support our client – a friendly individual with a brain injury who is seeking greater independence, social connection, and day-to-day support.
This role offers consistent day shift hours, giving you the opportunity to maintain a healthy work-life balance while making a real difference in our client's everyday life.
Your role will involve:
Companionship and emotional support
Prompting with personal care and medications
Encouraging community access and engagement in fun, meaningful activities
Being a calm, respectful presence in the home throughout your stay
We’re seeking someone with a person-centered mindset, great communication skills, and a desire to make a real difference in someone’s daily life.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
First Aid Certificate
NDIS Workers Screening
Working with Children's Check
Cert 3 or 4 in Disability, Aged or Community
Australian Driver's License and Reliable Vehicle
