Job Summary
Role Purpose
The EUC Technical Lead is responsible for the technical leadership, design, support, and operational management of the End User Computing environment. The role ensures stable, secure, and optimized delivery of workplace services across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, virtual desktops, collaboration tools, and endpoint management platforms. The position serves as the technical escalation point for EUC operations and drives service improvement, automation, and workplace transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
Provide technical leadership for End User Computing services.
Act as the highest escalation point for complex EUC incidents and problems.
Mentor L2/L3 engineers and desktop support teams.
Define EUC standards, procedures, and technical roadmaps.
Lead technical governance and architecture reviews.
Endpoint Management
Manage Windows, macOS, and mobile device environments.
Administer Microsoft Intune, MECM/SCCM, Autopilot, and endpoint security solutions.
Oversee device provisioning, imaging, software deployment, and lifecycle management.
Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards.
Workplace Services
Support Microsoft 365 services, including:
Teams
OneDrive
SharePoint
Outlook
Drive adoption of modern workplace technologies.
Support remote, hybrid, and mobile workforce requirements.
Virtual Desktop & Cloud Workplace
Manage and support:
Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
Citrix
VMware Horizon
DaaS platforms
Optimize user experience and platform performance.
Plan upgrades and capacity improvements.
Security & Compliance
Implement endpoint security controls.
Manage Defender for Endpoint and security baselines.
Support vulnerability remediation and patch compliance.
Work closely with Security Operations teams for risk reduction.
Ensure Zero Trust and Conditional Access policies are enforced
Incident, Problem & Change Management
Lead P1/P2 incident resolution activities.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA).
Drive problem management initiatives.
Review and approve EUC-related changes.
Ensure SLA and KPI achievement.
Automation & Continuous Improvement
Develop automation using PowerShell and endpoint management tools.
Eliminate repetitive operational tasks.
Improve deployment efficiency and workplace experience.
Create operational dashboards and reporting.
