As we continue expanding and establishing our new Botany warehouse headquarters, we are seeking reliable and hardworking Picker & Packers / Warehouse Storepersons to join our growing operations team immediately.
The Role
This is a hands-on warehouse role focused on picking, packing, organising, loading, and preparing furniture and event hire items for ongoing event operations and project deliveries.
The successful candidate will assist with:
- Setting up and organising warehouse racking and inventory
- Picking and packing items for event jobs and deliveries
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers
- Assisting with stock movements and warehouse organisation
- Supporting event logistics and operational requirements across the business
This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, works well within a team, and thrives in a busy operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and prepare furniture, décor, and event hire items for upcoming jobs
- Pack and load vehicles accurately and efficiently
- Assist with warehouse setup, stock organisation, and racking placement
- Unload returning event equipment and restock inventory
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and operational organisation
- Assist with stocktakes and inventory control
- Work collaboratively with warehouse, logistics, and operations teams
- Support ongoing event deliveries and operational requirements
Skills & Experience
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Experience within the furniture hire, logistics, warehousing, or events industry highly regarded
- Forklift Licence (LF) highly desirable
- Order Picker / LPO Licence preferred (or willingness to obtain — training can be provided)
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
