PW5 $79,270 - $85,278 per annum pro rata + 12% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience).

Apprentice Central is a dedicated team within Holmesglen that supports apprentices, trainees, and employers every step of the way. We provide end-to-end administration, guidance, and advice to ensure learners have the resources they need to succeed - from enrolment right through to completion of their apprenticeship.
The Apprentice Central Team Leader plays a key role in leading the daily operations of Apprentice Central, ensuring outstanding service delivery to apprentices and employers. This position leads and supports a dedicated team of administrative and customer service staff, driving efficient systems and continuous improvement across office operations. The role also ensures full compliance with institutional, regulatory, and legislative requirements, while providing confident guidance and informed decision-making support to the team in line with organisational policies and standards.
As an Apprentice Central Team Leader, you will:

Lead the day-to-day administrative requirements of the department and coordinate administrative and information services associated with departmental operations.

Provide supervision, support and advice to administrative staff on procedures and systems to achieve departmental goals, including onboarding, training, and technical support.

Provide confidential administrative support to management and staff, including diary management, meeting coordination, minute taking, and processing of requisitions, invoices, and records.

Participate in audit processes to ensure compliance with organisational policies and maintain a safe, respectful work environment in line with Institute requirements.

Work closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality customer service, maintain course currency, and ensure accurate and timely advice on departmental activities.
To be successful, you’ll have:

Degree in business administration or a related field (or lesser qualifications with significant relevant experience), with relevant work experience preferably in the education sector.

Demonstrated experience in administrative systems management, including developing and maintaining efficient office processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting operational effectiveness.

Strong experience in senior administrative coordination, including staff supervision, workload prioritisation, and managing complex and high-volume administrative functions.

Proven skills in data and records management, including student systems, enrolments, databases, accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.

Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and quality assurance, including participation in audits, business process review, and using data and analysis to improve outcomes.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and digital literacy skills, with a collaborative, flexible, and team-focused approach aligned with ethical and organisational values.
WWCC and Police Check:
Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Victorian ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
