As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle—from prospecting and demonstrating our hardware (MoleScope/OptimaScan) and intelligent SaaS platform (DermEngine), to closing deals with dermatologists, skin cancer clinics, and healthcare enterprises in Australia. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the medical device landscape, a proven track record of selling to healthcare professionals (HCPs), and the agility to sell complex cloud-based B2B solutions.
Drive Revenue Growth: Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities within dermatology clinics, skin cancer centers, hospitals, and healthcare networks.
Product Demonstrations: Conduct high-impact virtual and in-person demonstrations of MetaOptima’s product ecosystem, effectively articulating how our combined hardware and AI SaaS platform improves clinical workflows and patient outcomes.
Consultative Selling: Navigate complex medical procurement processes, engage with key decision-makers (physicians, clinic owners, and enterprise healthcare executives), and address technical, clinical, and security questions.
Pipeline Management: Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline within our CRM, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely follow-ups.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with our Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align on lead generation strategies, share market feedback, and ensure seamless onboarding for new clients.
Industry Presence: Represent MetaOptima at major medical conferences, dermatology congresses, and networking events to build brand awareness and generate high-quality leads.
Market Intelligence: Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes in the MedTech and dermatology sectors.
Experience: 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience. Experience selling digital health, healthcare IT, or B2B SaaS into the medical space is a major asset.
Industry Knowledge: Proven experience selling directly to doctors, specialists, or clinic owners. Familiarity with dermatology or imaging workflows is highly desirable.
Sales Acumen: Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas through consultative, value-based selling.
Technical Aptitude: Comfortable learning and presenting complex AI-powered software alongside physical medical devices.
Communication: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build immediate trust and credibility with medical professionals.
Self-Starter Mentality: Highly motivated, resilient, and adaptable to the fast-paced environment of a rapidly scaling health-tech company.
