About you – what we’re looking for
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our supportive and professional multidisciplinary teams in a flexible part time capacity (0.8 FTE – 4 days / week, or 5 days working school hours).
This role sits within our People, Learning and Culture team and plays a key role in attracting the best talent, while delivering a positive, efficient and values-aligned recruitment experience for candidates and hiring managers across healthAbility.
The role - key responsibilities
As our Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will be responsible for:
- End-to-end recruitment delivery across a diverse range of roles
- Partnering with hiring managers to scope roles, agree approaches and provide practical advice
- Managing job advertising, sourcing and candidate pipelines via ELMO (ATS)
- Screening applications, coordinating interviews and supporting selection decisions
- Providing a positive, responsive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Managing pre-employment checks and supporting onboarding as needed
- Maintaining accurate recruitment records, reporting and compliance documentation
- Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve recruitment processes, systems and ways of working
- Supporting broader People team initiatives as needed
About you – what we’re looking for
We’re open to candidates from a wide variety of backgrounds and industries, who bring experience in internal Talent Acquisition / Recruitment, and are confident, organised and comfortable working with a wide variety of stakeholders, with:
- Proven experience in internal end-to-end recruitment or talent acquisition, including recruitment process and service delivery improvements
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience using an ATS (ELMO experience highly regarded)
- A practical, solutions-focused approach, good judgement and customer service mindset
- Ability to manage multiple roles, stakeholders and priorities at the same time
- High attention to detail and strong follow-through
- Comfort working autonomously while being part of a small, collaborative team
