As Enterprise Architect, you'll provide the architectural vision and governance that enables smarter decisions, reduces complexity and creates a more connected, sustainable and future-ready health service.
About The Role
We are now seeking an experienced and passionate Enterprise Architect to join our Design & Architecture Services team within the Digital and Information Division.
As Enterprise Architect, you will provide strategic architectural leadership across Monash Health's technology landscape, helping shape the future direction of digital investment and technology-enabled care. You will assess current capabilities, identify opportunities to simplify and rationalise the application portfolio, and ensure new technology investments align with organisational strategy, architectural standards and long-term sustainability goals. Acting as a trusted advisor to executives and technical leaders alike, you will play a critical role in defining the future-state architecture that supports Monash Health's ongoing transformation.
What We're Looking For
You are a strategic thinker and trusted advisor who can see the bigger picture while translating complex technology landscapes into clear, practical direction. You bring significant experience in enterprise architecture, technology strategy and digital transformation within large, complex organisations, with the ability to align technology investments to long-term organisational objectives.
Highly analytical and solutions-focused, you enjoy solving complex challenges, managing technical debt and identifying opportunities to modernise systems, improve interoperability and strengthen organisational capability. You understand the importance of balancing innovation with governance, security, risk management and regulatory compliance.
You'll Also Bring:
Significant experience in enterprise architecture, technology strategy and digital transformation.
Expertise in architecture frameworks, governance and target-state planning.
Ability to evaluate technology investments and assess strategic fit across a complex environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence executive and technical audiences.
Experience simplifying complex technology landscapes and driving architectural maturity.
Experience in healthcare or digital health is highly regarded.
