About the Role
Heart-Led Support is seeking a reliable and experienced Support Worker to assist a young man with Autism Level 3 who is non-verbal. This role involves personal care, regulated routines, supporting communication needs and maintaining a calm and structured environment. Reliability, consistency, and strong communication with the team are essential.
There are also opportunities to work with additional participants within Heart-Led Support for workers seeking more hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily support to a young man with ASD Level 3
- Assist with personal care and hygiene
- Support emotional regulation and routine
- Follow clear communication methods appropriate for non-verbal participants
- Maintain accurate shift notes and communication with Team Leader
- Deliver consistent, reliable support across 8–10 hour shifts
Essential Requirements
- Experience supporting individuals with Autism Level 3 or high-complex needs
- Comfortable with personal care duties
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliability and consistency in attendance and communication
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
- First Aid and CPR
- Driver’s licence and reliable transport
