CHILDREN'S SPORTS COACH - LEAD COACH

Little Kickers Casey is looking for an enthusiastic, confident and reliable Children's Sports Coach to join our growing coaching team as a Lead Coach.
Little Kickers is an award-winning preschool soccer program that introduces children aged 18 months to 8 years to sport through imaginative, play-based games. Our classes focus on developing children's confidence, coordination, social skills and fundamental movement skills in a fun, positive and supportive environment. As a Lead Coach, you'll facilitate engaging classes, demonstrate activities, inspire young children through imaginative play and build positive relationships with families. Every session is high-energy, rewarding and different, making it the perfect role for someone who enjoys being active and making a genuine impact on children's development.
While a sporting background is helpful, we're looking for the right personality above all else. If you're someone who can connect with young children, think on your feet and create a positive, engaging environment, we'll teach you everything you need to know about the Little Kickers program.
This role would particularly suit people studying or working in education, early childhood, allied health, coaching or childcare, as well as parents returning to the workforce looking for meaningful weekend work.
We're seeking someone who is:
- Confident speaking in front of groups of children and adults.
- Warm, friendly and able to build rapport with families.
- A natural leader who can motivate and encourage children while keeping classes organised and on track.
- Not afraid to be a little playful and silly and fully embrace imaginative play to keep children engaged and having fun.
- Patient, encouraging and positive with young children.
- Reliable, punctual and organised.
- Comfortable working as part of a team while taking ownership of their classes.
- Physically active and able to keep up with fast-paced sessions.
Position Details:
- Casual position.
- Initially 4–6 hours per week, with opportunities for additional weekend and midweek hours as we continue to grow.
- Must be available for at least one weekend morning.
- Classes are held throughout the City of Casey (Cranbourne, Clyde North, Berwick & Officer) but additionally seeking coaches for our new venue in Botanic Ridge.
Essential Requirements:
- Current Working With Children's Check.
Desirable:
- Driver's licence and reliable transport.
- First Aid and CPR qualifications.
- Experience working with children through teaching, childcare, coaching, allied health or similar roles.
