We are a leading hospitality provider located along the iconic Great Northern Highway in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Bookkeeper to join our team. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the financial health and accuracy of our operations, ensuring efficient management of budgets, accounts, and financial reporting.
The main duties include, but are not limited to:
- Record daily financial transactions accurately.
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable.
- Generate financial reports for management.
- Track and categorize business expenses.
- Assist in preparing BAS, GST, and tax-related documents.
- Monitor cash flow and budget tracking.
- Maintain records of supplier and customer accounts.
- Assist with end-of-month and end-of-year financial closings.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Use accounting software to manage financial data.
- Communicate with accountants, auditors, and tax professionals.
The suitable applicants should:
- Have AQF Certificate III including at least two years relevant experience, or AQF Certificate IV or at least three years of relevant experience.
- Ability to work in Xero.
- Drive for continuous improvement.
- Strong attention to detail and a team player with a positive mindset.
- Excellent communication skills.
The employer will offer:
- A full-time contract for at least 3 years, extendable for further term.
- An annual salary of $70,000 - $75,000 (negotiable) + superannuation will be offered to the successful candidates with relevant qualification and experience.
