About the Role
Based at our Hendra depot in Brisbane, you'll be the go-to person keeping operations running smoothly day to day. You'll work largely independently, so we need someone who's comfortable owning their environment, troubleshooting on the fly, and getting things done without hand-holding.
This is a four-day week (Monday to Thursday), starting at 6:00 AM, ideal for someone on Brisbane's north side who values structure, early finishes, and a role with real room to grow.
What You'll Be Doing
- Overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations and keeping the depot organised, clean, and running efficiently
- Supervising depot activities and coordinating with truck drivers and delivery personnel
- Communicating with customers by phone, professionally, clearly, and with a bit of personality
- Using computer systems to manage records, schedules, and logistics
- Safely handling and moving items up to 20 kg unassisted
- Ensuring all WH&S guidelines are followed at all times
- Troubleshooting issues as they arise and using your initiative to find solutions
What We're Looking For
- Supervisory experience: you've led or coordinated a team or depot before
- Computer literacy: comfortable with email, scheduling tools, and basic admin systems
- Great communicator: equally at ease talking to a customer on the phone as you are directing a truck driver at the dock
- Self-motivated and organised: you don't need someone looking over your shoulder
- Reliable: punctual, consistent, and someone people can count on
- Practical nous: you can think on your feet, solve problems, and keep things moving
- Own transport: essential, given the 6:00 AM start at Hendra
- North Brisbane based: proximity to the depot matters for this role
- Ability to meet the inherent physical requirements of the role
