GOJIP is a busy Korean BBQ restaurant located in Underwood, a strong focus on great food, excellent service and a positive team environment.
We are looking for a reliable, motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working in a busy restaurant, leading a team and making sure every service runs smoothly.
About the Role
As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will work closely with the management team and help oversee the day-to-day operation of the restaurant.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and supporting the front-of-house team during service
- Allocating staff and coordinating the team during busy periods
- Ensuring excellent customer service and a welcoming atmosphere
- Monitoring the overall flow of service
- Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures
- Supporting staff training and onboarding
- Communicating effectively with the kitchen and management team
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Following food safety, workplace health & safety and restaurant procedures
- Assisting with stock control and daily operational tasks
- Supporting the Restaurant Manager with general restaurant operations
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality or supervisory role
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A positive and professional attitude
- The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- The confidence to lead a team during busy services
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
Korean BBQ or Korean restaurant experience is highly regarded but not essential.
