We’re expanding our team and looking for young, energetic support workers who are passionate about making a difference.
This role is perfect for university students, especially those studying Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or related fields, who want real, hands-on experience in the disability sector.
We are currently seeking male and female Disability Support Workers to join our team. You’ll be working closely with participants both in-home and out in the community, supporting them to build confidence, independence, and everyday life skills.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting participants with daily living tasks at home
- Assisting with community access, outings, and appointments
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and social skills
- Engaging in meaningful activities aligned with participant goals
- Providing transport to and from activities
- Building positive, professional relationships with participants and families
- Completing shift notes and required documentation
About you
- Young, energetic, and proactive
- Studying (or interested in) Physiotherapy, OT, or a related field (highly regarded)
- Passionate about working in the disability sector
- Patient, compassionate, and respectful
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
Essential requirements
- Valid driver’s licence
- Access to a reliable car
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Full working rights in Australia

Pay: $43.23 – $86.00 per hour
