About the Role
The Lead Generation and Appointment Setter's primary role is to generate leads and schedule appointments for sales teams by contacting potential clients. They are the first point of contact for a company, engaging with prospects to qualify them and book meetings for sales representatives. This involves a mix of communication, sales, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation -Identifying and reaching out to potential clients through telephone calls, email and social media from online lead databases.
- Qualifying Leads - assessing the prospect's needs, budget, and interest in the product or service to determine if they are a good fit for the sales team.
- Scheduling Appointments - setting up meetings or calls for the sales team with qualified leads.
- Maintaining Records - accurately logging all interactions with potential clients in a CRM system.
- Following up - ensuring appointments are confirmed, addressing any questions or concerns from potential clients, and building rapport.
Skills & Experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with potential clients and presenting information clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to identify potential clients, build rapport, handle objections, and close for an appointment.
- Ability to manage a high volume of calls, emails, and appointments while maintaining accurate records.
- Understanding the needs and concerns of potential clients to tailor the sales approach effectively.
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
