Are you an experienced Beauty Therapist who loves making clients feel amazing?
Essential Beauty Southland is looking for a confident, motivated Senior Beauty Therapist to join our friendly team on a casual basis, with weekend shifts available.
We’re a busy, well-established salon specialising in beauty services and professional body piercing. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service, quality treatments and creating an environment where our team genuinely enjoys coming to work.
THE ROLE
As a Senior Beauty Therapist, you’ll be an important part of our salon team. You’ll be providing professional beauty treatments, building strong client relationships and helping create an exceptional experience for every customer.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Strong beauty therapy experience and excellent waxing skills
- Brazilian waxing experience — essential
- A Diploma, Certificate III or Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy
- Ideally 2+ years’ experience working in a busy salon
- A professional, confident and friendly manner
- The ability to work efficiently while maintaining excellent treatment standards
- A positive attitude and genuine willingness to be part of a team
- An interest in learning body piercing — full training provided
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Providing professional waxing and beauty treatments
- Performing Brazilian waxing with confidence, care and precision
- Recommending treatments and products to suit individual client needs
- Creating genuine relationships that keep clients coming back
- Learning professional body piercing as part of your role
- Supporting your fellow team members and contributing to a positive salon environment

Experience:
- Beautician: 1 year (Preferred)
