About the role
The Clinical Facilitator (CF) role provides advanced clinical knowledge and care in managing patients with a range of conditions and contributes to the effective functioning of clinical units and teams. This is achieved through role modelling, problem-solving and applying best practice principles in clinical care, education, leadership and portfolio management.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
Demonstrate relevant clinical experience and contemporary knowledge aligned with the work allocation portfolio areas.
Demonstrate proficiency in designing, delivering and evaluating clinical education activities which support clinicians to deliver evidence-based contemporary care.
Display advanced interpersonal and written communication skills which enable accurate, timely, and effective information transfer to clinicians in both individual and group education settings to support patient-centred care delivery and staff's professional development.
Serve as a role model by fostering the professional development of others; applying evidence and best practice to patient/consumer care, establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships; and managing a competing priority to achieve positive individual and organisational outcomes.
Mandatory Requirements
Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
Appointment to this position requires evidence of qualification/s and current registration or membership with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra). Certified documents must be provided to the relevant supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
