The role of Administration Assistant is to answer and direct incoming phone calls, maintain physical and electronic data and provide administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the Senior Helpers office.
· Answer and direct phone calls
· Make phone calls and appointments
· Take and distribute messages
· Schedule appointments and office training
· Receive and send mail and emails
· Maintain organised physical and electronic files
· Copy, fax and scan documents
· Assist with client and employee data into Visual Care
· Manage and order office supplies according to inventory
· Prepare the training area for interviews
meetings, classes or other events
· Maintain the appearance of the office
· Follow organisational workplace health and safety practices, including but not limited to manual handling and safety procedures
· Report Workplace Health and Safety incidents according to Senior Helpers’ procedures
· Report any incidents or suspicions of client abuse (including physical, sexual, financial, psychological and neglect), following Senior Helpers’ procedures
· Always represent Senior Helpers in a positive and professional manner
· Contribute equitably to maintaining the cleanliness of the Senior Helpers
· Maintain dress-code standards
· Maintain a friendly and approachable attitude towards all employees, clients and stakeholders
· Respect all equipment and property and use with care to avoid unnecessary damage
· Complete all other duties as assigned
· Attend meetings and training as required

Essential
· Current unrestricted Queensland driver licence
· Proven experience working in an administration role.
· Current National Police Certificate
· Blue Card/Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable Persons
· Certificate of Completion of the “Quality, Safety and You”- NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
Desirable
· Relevant qualification in business/administration
· Understanding of the support needs of people who are aged and/or have a disability
Pay: $35.15 – $40.56 per hour
