About the Role
As a Certificate III Assistant Educator, you will work collaboratively with your Room Leader, Educational Leader and fellow educators to create a nurturing, engaging and play-based environment for children aged 0–5 years.
This isn't a role where we want someone to simply "come in and do their shift." We are looking for an educator who gets involved, notices the little things, contributes to the room and brings enthusiasm to the team.
Your role will include:
- Creating warm, secure and meaningful relationships with children.
- Supporting children to feel safe, included, confident and valued.
- Engaging genuinely in children's play rather than simply supervising from the sidelines.
- Supporting the delivery of engaging, play-based learning experiences.
- Contributing observations, ideas and children's interests to the educational program.
- Working alongside the Room Leader to implement the EYLF and service philosophy.
- Supporting children's routines, including meals, rest, toileting, nappy changes and transitions, with dignity and respect.
- Maintaining active supervision and prioritising children's safety at all times.
- Building positive and respectful relationships with families.
- Helping maintain beautiful, inviting and purposeful indoor and outdoor learning environments.
- Following service policies, procedures, child-safe practices and regulatory requirements.
- Contributing to reflections, room planning, documentation and continuous improvement.
- Being willing to learn, receive feedback and continue developing professionally.

Essential Requirements
Applicants will need to hold or be able to meet the requirements relevant to their position, including:
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or an approved equivalent qualification.
- Availability from open to closing hours Mon-Fri.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current approved First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, or willingness to obtain/update as required.
- Current Child Protection/Mandatory Reporting training as applicable.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework.
- Commitment to child safety and the protection of children from harm.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional early childhood team.
