ABOUT THE ROLE:
We’re seeking an experienced Education Support team member to join our Mackillop Specialist School (F-12) in Clifton Hill. You will work alongside educators to deliver engaging, high-quality learning for students who thrive with tailored support -particularly those with neurodiverse needs.
With small class sizes of just 10 students, you’ll build strong relationships and provide personalised support in a focused, supportive environment where every student is known and valued.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Student Support: Tailored 1:1 and small group support to build engagement and skills

Collaboration: Partner with teachers and wellbeing staff to adapt learning

Relationships: Foster trust with students, families, and support teams

Learning Delivery: Support classroom and co-curricular activities
-
Safe Environment: Supervise and maintain structure across school settings
-
Operations: Assist with resources, organisation, and admin tasks

We have 1 x Full-Time ongoing opportunity based at our brand-new school in Clifton Hill, VIC within MacKillop Education. The position reports to the Education and Wellbeing Coordinator.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Experience working in trauma-informed, flexible, or specialist education settings (highly regarded)

Relevant work experience and a minimum Diploma Qualification, Certificate IV in Education Support or Special needs or equivalent.

An understanding and commitment to the objectives and values of the organisation, including Sanctuary Commitments, as outlined above, and a capacity to represent MacKillop values as required by the role.

An understanding of teaching and learning strategies and the ability to implement these as required.

A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people and their families.

Valid and current Driver’s Licence;
