A day in a Wage Subsidy Specialist role involves…
As a Wage Subsidy Specialist, you will support employers and internal teams through the wage subsidy and claims process. You will be responsible for the administration, communication, monitoring and payment of wage subsidies to IEA employers, while ensuring activity is accurate, compliant and aligned with WISE processes and DSS Guidelines.
This will include:
- Providing high-quality support to employers throughout the wage subsidy process
- Assisting with the creation, monitoring, administration and payment of wage subsidies
- Supporting employers to meet wage subsidy eligibility and compliance requirements
- Maintaining strong relationships with employers, Industry Employment Partners, site staff and internal stakeholders
- Delivering timely and accurate wage subsidy information and administration
- Ensuring wage subsidy activity is completed in line with WISE processes, DSS Guidelines and quality standards
- Keeping stakeholders informed and acting on feedback from employers, site staff, managers and audits
- Providing reporting to the Business Manager – Wage Subsidies
Managing information and maintaining data integrity in line with business and regulatory requirements
