About the Opportunity
As Team Leader – Production, you will be a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Leveraging your expertise in planning, systems and people leadership, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence.
You will lead a high-performing, inclusive team culture where people feel valued and empowered, while championing productivity improvements and ensuring safe, efficient operations. With accountability for workflow planning and execution, you will optimise labour allocation, manage production flow, and uphold strong governance and process discipline.
About the Facility
Australia Post Sprintpak is a specialist manufacturing operation delivering high-quality postage and philatelic products. This includes self-adhesive and gummed stamps, as well as a broad range of collectible products such as stamp albums, First Day Covers, and retail packaging solutions.
Located in Rowville, Victoria, this role requires onsite presence, 5 days per week.
Salary: $96,527.00 + Superannuation
What You’ll Deliver with Us

Ensure accurate and timely despatch aligned to customer requirements

Collaborate with stakeholders to improve operational outcomes

Align labour allocation with forecast demand and production requirements

Apply commercial awareness to balance cost, productivity and customer outcomes

Drive process improvements using Lean principles

Champion a strong safety culture through team engagement and toolbox talks

Identify skill gaps and strengthen team performance and engagement
About You
-
Proven, extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of production functions gained within a production environment

Strong knowledge of production operations, fulfilment and despatch processes

Experience in labour planning, workflow management and productivity optimisation
-
Solid understanding of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean/Six Sigma)

Strong systems capability, including production systems and SAP (preferred)

Experience managing master data, reconciliation and production processes

Excellent prioritisation skills, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
